Meet the Staff 


Peter J. Santangelo, President


Peter Santangelo currently serves as the President of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. Wintrust Financial Corporation is a multi-billion dollar holding company located in Rosemont, Illinois. Mr. Santangelo has more than twenty-five years of banking experience in consumer, commercial, & portfolio management. He has been working with community associations and property management companies for over ten years.

Mr. Santangelo has managed relationships in several large corporate banks. He was responsible for the sale of bank deposits, investment and cash management products, provided construction, bridge and interim loans, and various types of consumer credit, equity and small business lending loans. Mr. Santangelo also has experience training new personnel in an underwriting unit and was the liaison for installment lending, interfacing with other bank branches.

Mr. Santangelo is a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations. Mr. Santangelo was the 2008 President of Community Associations Institute Illinois chapter and currently serves on various committees.

Frank K. Coleman, Vice President

 

Frank Coleman currently serves as a Vice President of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A., with over 23 years of experience in the industry. He is responsible for business development and portfolio management for condominium, homeowner, town home association and commercial management clients throughout Illinois and Wisconsin.

Mr. Coleman was also named a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations. Most recently, he has earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) from BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), an international organization that serves and supports commercial property managers.

Community Involvement
Mr. Coleman served as an elected school board member for over ten years at Consolidated School District 158, and while serving he helped pass four educational/building referendums. Mr. Coleman also served as the Chair for the Building and Finance Committee, which administrated the building of eight new schools to house 8,500 students, plus a new administration and transportation center.

Anthony W. Dister, Vice President


Anthony Dister currently serves as a Vice President of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. and is responsible for new business development and portfolio management for our management company and association clients. Anthony brings with him over thirteen years of experience to Community Advantage.

Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Mr. Dister was a Personal Banker at a northwest suburban bank for three years. Upon his arrival at Barrington Bank and Trust, he worked in the Teller Department as a Manager for over one year and then transferred into the Bank Operations area for two years. Mr. Dister transferred to Community Advantage in 2005 where he worked as a Financial Analyst for two years before being promoted to a Commercial Loan Officer, Assistant Vice President and later Vice President.

Mr. Dister was also named a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations.

Stacey L. Adams, Senior Credit Analyst


Stacey Adams currently serves as a Senior Credit Analyst of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. Ms. Adams is responsible for the implementation and customer service of Credit Administration Services including loans for large capital projects and working capital lines of credit for a portfolio of community associations.  In this role, she assumes the responsibility of the day-to-day relationship management to assure timely and accurate documentation, payout processing and proactive solutions for COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE’s clients.

Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Adams was a teller at a bank in the northwest suburbs and worked for a financial corporation where she forecasted and analyzed financial statements.

Nancy C. Taub, Senior Credit Analyst


Nancy Taub currently serves as a Senior Credit Analyst of COMMUNITYADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A.  Ms. Taub is responsible for credit analysis, commercial loan administration and customer service on loans for large capital projects, capital asset acquisitions and working capital for a portfolio of community associations.

Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Taub worked for ten years in the commercial real estate industry as a Financial Analyst in property management, real estate syndication and mortgage banking.

Grace E. McCafferty, Credit Analyst

Ms. McCafferty has over ten years of banking experience that she brings to COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE. She started in banking as a teller at a northwest suburban bank and most of her career was spent as a personal banker at two suburban banks.

Pamela E. Mullen, Senior Vice President

 
Pamela Mullen currently serves as a Senior Vice President/Deposit Services Manager of COMMUNITYADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. and is responsible for the Deposit Services Banking Team, including providing outstanding customer service, contact and coordination of the deposit portfolio, including all cash management services for condominium, homeowner and town-home association clients.

Ms. Mullen brings over two decades of customer service experience to COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE. Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, she worked at a west suburban bank for over twenty years, serving the bank in many capacities, including branch and portfolio management, real estate lending and personal banking.

Mary M. Theile, Senior Deposit Services Banker


Mary Theile currently serves as a Senior Deposit Services Banker of COMMUNITYADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. and is responsible for customer service, account documentation and administrative support for a deposit portfolio of condominium, homeowner, and townhome association clients.

Prior to joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Theile was a Realtor in the northwest suburbs and taught mainly at the high school level for over five years. She has also worked as an insurance claims adjuster handling and settling multi-line claims. In addition, Ms. Theile worked for a year as a teller and trainer at a suburban bank and as a personal banker for three years.

Ms. Johnson brings over fifteen years of banking experience to COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE. Ms. Johnson has worked at two northwest suburban banks servicing them in many capacities, including teller, personal banker and assistant manager.

Fifi F. Farag, Deposit Services Associate


Fifi Farag currently serves as a Deposit Services Associate of COMMUNITYADVANTAGE®, a Wintrust Company and a division of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. and is responsible for customer service, account documentation, and administrative support for a deposit portfolio of condominium, homeowner, and townhome association clients.

Ms. Farag has over 20 years experience in the customer service and banking industry that she brings to COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE. She has been with the bank since 1999. Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Farag worked as an accountant at Barrington Bank & Trust in the controller department and then as a customer service representative in the operations department.  During this time, she was also processing various banking services for COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE customers.
