Meet the Staff

  

Peter J. Santangelo, President

Peter J. Santangelo currently serves as the President of COMMUNITYADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A., a subsidiary of Wintrust Financial Corporation, a multi-billion dollar holding company. Mr.Santangelo has more than twenty-two years of banking experience in consumer, commercial, & portfolio management.

Mr. Santangelo has managed relationships in several large corporate banks within commercial lending and was responsible for the sale of bank deposits, investment and cash management products. He also provided construction, bridge and interim loans and various types of consumer credit, equity and small business lending loans. Mr. Santangelo has trained new personnel in an underwriting unit and was the liaison for installment lending, interfacing with other bank branches.

Mr. Santangelo is a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations. Mr. Santangelo was the 2008 President of Community Associations Institute Illinois chapter and currently serves as a director until 2010.

Peter is a past member of the Homebuilders of Greater Chicago Association and District 220 Volunteer Tutor Program.

Frank Coleman, Assistant Vice President

Frank Coleman currently serves as an Assistant Vice President of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. Mr. Coleman is responsible for business development and portfolio management for condominium, homeowner, town home association and commercial management clients throughout Illinois. He brought twenty-five years of experience to Barrington Bank & Trust Company.

Most recently, Mr. Coleman was named a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations.  Currently he is enrolled in the BOMI International courses in order to receive the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation for the management of commercial office buildings.

Community Involvement
Mr. Coleman has been a school board member for over ten years at Consolidated School District 158, which passed four referendums to build eight new schools to house over 8,500 new students and an administration/transportation center. He is also a board member for a number of youth programs.


Anthony Dister, Assistant Vice President

Anthony W. Dister currently serves as an Assistant Vice President of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank and Trust Company, N.A. Mr. Dister is responsible for new business development and portfolio management for our management company and association clients. Anthony brought with him ten years of experience to Barrington Bank and Trust.

Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Mr. Dister was a Personal Banker at a northwest suburban bank for three years. Upon his arrival at Barrington Bank and Trust, he worked in the Teller Department as a Manager for over one year and then transferred into the Bank Operations area for two years. Mr. Dister transferred to Community Advantage in 2005 where he worked as a Financial Analyst for two years before being promoted to a Commercial Loan Officer and later Assistant Vice President.

Most recently, Mr. Dister was named a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA) by the National Board of Certification for Community Associations Managers. He joins many CMCAs nationwide who have mastered the fundamental knowledge to manage condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations.

Stacey L. Adams, Senior Credit Analyst

Stacey L. Adams currently serves as a Senior Credit Analyst of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank and Trust Company, N.A.  Ms. Adams is responsible for the implementation and customer service of Credit Administration Services including loans for large capital projects and working capital lines of credit for a portfolio of community associations.  In this role, she assumes the responsibility of the day-to-day relationship management to assure timely and accurate documentation, payout processing and proactive solutions for COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE’s clients.

Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Adams was a teller at a bank in the northwest suburbs and worked for a financial corporation where she forecasted and analyzed financial statements.

Nancy Taub, Financial Analyst

Nancy Taub currently serves as a Financial Analyst of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust N.A. Ms. Taub is responsible for credit analysis, commercial loan administration and customer service on loans for large capital projects, capital asset acquisitions and working capital for a portfolio of community associations. 

Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Taub worked for ten years in the commercial real estate industry as a Financial Analyst in property management, real estate syndication and mortgage banking.

Pamela Mullen, Senior Vice President

Pamela Mullen currently serves as a Senior Vice President/Deposit Services Manager of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust and is responsible for the Deposit Services Banking & Treasury Team, including providing outstanding customer service, contact and coordination of the deposit portfolio of condominium, homeowner and town-home association clients, as well as treasury services for commercial clients of the bank.

Ms. Mullen brought over two decades of customer service experience to COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE. Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, she worked at a west suburban bank for over twenty years, serving the bank in many capacities, including branch and portfolio management, real estate lending and personal banking.

Mary M. Theile, Senior Deposit Services Banker

Mary M. Theile currently serves as a Senior Deposit Services Banker of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N. A. and is responsible for customer service, account documentation and administrative support for a deposit portfolio of condominium, homeowner, and townhome association clients.

Prior to joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Theile was a Realtor in the northwest suburbs and taught mainly at the high school level for over five years. She has also worked as an insurance claims adjuster handling and settling multi-line claims. In addition, Ms. Theile worked for a year as a teller and trainer at a suburban bank and as a personal banker for three years.

Fifi Farag, Deposit Services Associate

Fifi Farag currently serves as a Deposit Services Associate of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE® of Barrington Bank & Trust N.A. and is responsible for customer service, account documentation, and administrative support for a deposit portfolio of condominium, homeowner, and townhome association clients.

Ms. Farag brings over 20 years experience in the customer service and banking industry to Barrington Bank and Trust. She has been with the bank since 1999. Before joining COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Ms. Farag worked as an accountant at Barrington Bank & Trust in the controller department and then as a customer service representative in the operations department.  During this time, she was also processing various banking services for COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE customers.

Grace McCafferty,  Senior Deposit Services Banker

Ms. McCafferty brings over seven years of banking experience to COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE. She started in banking as a teller at a northwest suburban bank and most of her career was spent as a personal banker at two suburban banks.

Sherry Hoover, Treasury Management Officer

Sherry Hoover currently serves as a Treasury Management Officer of Barrington Bank & Trust Company N.A. Ms. Hoover is primarily responsible for providing customer service and support for Commercial Treasury Management customers. In addition, she implements and trains customers on various cash management products and services.

Ms. Hoover has been with Barrington Bank & Trust for two and a half years. Prior to her work in Treasury Service, Sherry spent her time in the commercial credit department where she focused on loan underwriting.

Ms. Hoover has over fifteen years of corporate experience in the Treasury field. She spent almost ten years at a corporation in Libertyville, Illinois as the Senior Treasury Analyst.  She was the bank liaison for the company; her responsibilities included international cash management, foreign exchange and management of the company’s Pension and Profit Sharing Program and Stock Program.
