BARRINGTON, Ill. (April 8, 2008) – Peter J. Santangelo, Senior Vice President of COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE®, has been appointed president of the board of directors for Community Associations Institute’s Illinois Chapter.
As president, Santangelo will leverage his leadership skills, association experience and professional resources to grow chapter awareness and better serve its members.
“I am committed to fostering education, advancing legislation, increasing membership and promoting CAI – Illinois Chapter on behalf of all community associations and homeowners,” Santangelo said.
The Illinois chapter is one of the largest chapters in the United States, with more than 1,100 members. It is a not-for-profit organization that serves the educational, business and networking needs of community associations in the Chicagoland area.
Santangelo is also a member of the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations; Apartment Building Owners and Managers Association; and the Institute of Real Estate Management.
At COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE, Santangelo is responsible for business development and portfolio management for condominium, homeowner and townhome association clients throughout Illinois.
