To the clients and communities we proudly serve,

We are in the final months of one of the most challenging years of our lifetimes. We have faced substantial hurdles so far and aren’t out of the woods yet. But the resilience of the individuals, businesses and communities we serve continues to far exceed whatever 2020 throws our way.

COVID-19 remains at the forefront of our everyday lives as we attempt to make the best of our current situations. Those who know me know that I believe almost anything can be accomplished with a great team, a great attitude, and a great effort.

As we head into the winter months, the cold weather will bring new challenges for many businesses and communities. But the ingenuity and unity we are witnessing is inspiring. From the winners of the Winter Dining Challenge in Chicago to community leaders in Milwaukee being honored for their ongoing contributions, I see our communities in Illinois and Wisconsin doing what it takes to move forward.

We will continue to support those efforts through the many programs we have created specifically to help those in need during this pandemic. Our branches are open in keeping with all local health guidelines for the safety of our employees, clients, and visitors.

We are ready to serve you. We know you need a partner that is nimble and can flex when you need. Here are several areas where Wintrust can be your partner:

  • Through our distinct structure of community banks, our MaxSafe accounts can help you rethink your Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) coverage limits beyond $250,000, so you get added peace of mind during this time of economic uncertainty. Visit here for more information.
  • With mortgage rates near historic lows, our mortgage lending experts are ready to serve your home loan needs whether it is a purchase or a refinance. Visit us here to get started.
  • Lastly, I’m proud to announce that Wintrust once again won the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Northern Illinois Community Lender of the Year award, based on total number and volume of SBA 7(a) program loans delivered to Illinois small businesses in 2019. We are the 7(a) program lending experts in this region. Learn more about whether an SBA loan is right for you here

For our Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) clients, we continue to closely monitor PPP updates and remain committed to helping you navigate the process. That’s where having a personal banker is critical and I encourage you to reach out to your relationship manager at any time. For program updates, please visit the U.S. Small Business Administration’s website here.

As we close out 2020 as best we can, we need to remain strong and support each other. Please stay healthy and safe. Thank you for your business and trust in Wintrust.
