Joe Kneip

Team Lead
Wintrust Community Advantage

Joe joined Wintrust Community Advantage in November of 2025 as the Team Lead for Client Support Professionals. He is responsible for overseeing commercial loan administration, customer service on loans for large capital projects, capital asset acquisitions, and working capital for a portfolio of community associations. Joe’s career with Wintrust began in 2015 at Barrington Bank & Trust Company, where he started as a personal banker and later became a consumer lender, and eventually the Consumer Lending Manager. His long-standing experience in retail banking and lending made for a seamless transition to the Community Advantage team.
